LRA Constructors develops a special project management team for each project it undertakes. Each team member has been involved in countless commercial projects, and they bring their own unique perspective to the job.

Ben B. Barrow Jr. -  President

Ben Barrow, President & Co-owner graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering in 1975 and later with a Master’s in Business Administration in 1979. In addition to managing the company, his forte is understanding the detail of foundations, framing and flashing design and visualizing concepts to serve the owners needs. He promotes productivity, quality and marketing for LRA Constructors, Inc.

John L. Reese III - Treasurer

John Reese, Secretary / Treasurer and Co-owner, graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. His expertise is in the area of estimating and project management. He encourages project quality and finishing jobs on or ahead of schedule. He has built valuable relationships throughout our community. 

Greg Freeman - Design Manager

Greg Freeman has served as the design manager for LRA Constructors, Inc for over nineteen years. Greg graduated from Albany Area Vocational - Technology School with a degree in Drafting and Design Technology. During his years with LRA, Greg has managed the design of over three hundred ninety projects in the commercial and industrial arena. Greg excels in space design and finding building solutions for competitive budgets.

 

Glen Pinkston - Project Manager/ Safety Director

Glen Pinkston has been a project, safety and human resource manager with LRA Constructors, Inc. for the last fourteen years. He is a 1973 business graduate of the University of Tennessee and was a trucking manager before joining LRA Constructors, Inc. Glen deals honestly and straightforward with his superintendents, subcontractors and owners and has a reputation for getting the job done.

Steve Davis - Project Manager/Estimator

Steve has worked with LRA for over 10 years. He started as a Crew leader in the field and has worked his way up to a project manager. Steve has over fourteen years of experience in the construction business. Steve’s expertise lies in value analysis, job cost estimation, and procurement.

Larry Baker - General Superintendent

Larry Baker has served as LRA Constructors, Inc. General Superintendent/Superintendent for the last fourteen years. Prior to his time at LRA Constructors, Inc. he worked for a residential contractor for twenty-one years. Larry has direct responsibility for fifteen superintendents/crew leaders and indirect responsibility for approximately seventy five construction workers. He provides oversight for quality, safety, productivity, and construction techniques.

Dan Kemp - Technical Illustrator

Dan Kemp has served as LRA Constructors, Inc. Technical Illustrator for the last two years. He received his Computer Aided Draft Design (CAD) degree in 1991 from Bessemer State Technical  College. Furthermore, Dan has over twelve years of experience as a CAD operator. Prior to his time at LRA Constructors, Inc he worked at an architectural design firm.  Dan is proficient in all aspects of CAD Design.

Mike has served as LRA Constructors, Inc. Controller for the last three years.  Mike is precise, accurate and detail oriented. He keeps his accounting current and organized and exhibits excellent problem solving skills. Mike received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern University.
